Bradley Ravellette Obituary

Bradley Raymond Ravellette, aged 83 went to his heavenly home on October 26, 2023. Born on February 20, 1940, in Oaktown, Indiana, Bradley – known affectionately as Brad was the son of Lois "Utt" Ravellette and Chester Ravellette. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Ed Ravellette and Bertis Dale Ravellette.

On September 8, 1962, in Dickinson, North Dakota, Brad wed the love of his life, Irene "Haag" Ravellette. Their bond of love and respect remained an inspiration to their family and friends over 61 joyous years. Brad will be remembered dearly by Irene and their two children, Randy Ravellette and Teresa Ellington (Chris), both of Evansville, Indiana. Their family shared innumerable laughs, lessons, and life experiences that will continue to hold special places in their hearts.

Brad was a member of the United States Air Force, where his service was characterized by commitment and integrity. After leaving the military, he went on to have a successful career in the construction industry. His roles as a construction foreman for both Greene Construction and Peyronnin Construction displayed his unparalleled work ethic and leadership abilities. He was also a member of the Scared Heart Catholic Church.

Brad was a man defined not only by his work but by his passions and hobbies. He was an accomplished trap shooter at the Oaktown Gun Club, a spot he held close to his heart. An avid fisherman, Brad relished the quiet moments by the water. His love for family gatherings was limitless, where his presence was always marked by humor and warmth. Brad had a passion for maintaining his yard where he spent countless hours, along with his remarkable skills in woodworking.

Bradley Raymond Ravellette will forever be remembered for his unwavering strength, his sense of humor, his enduring love for his family, and his unwavering devotion to his faith. He set an example of hard work, dedication, and love that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Fredrick and Son McClure- Utt Funeral Home, Oaktown Chapel from 12:00 P.M. until  3:00 PM with a service immediately following at 3:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.Burial will follow in Oaktown Cemetery.
