Billy Collier Obituary

Billy Ray Collier, 89 of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. 

Billy was born in Martinsville, IN on September 19, 1930 to the late Harry Collier and Verna (Barger) Collier. 

Billy was married to Betty (Durham) Collier on June 23, 1990. He was the the owner of Collier’s IGA. Billy played the mandolin, organ, and enjoyed music. He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Billy was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Billy is survived by; his loving children, Steven Collier (Penny) of Martinsville, John Fred Collier (Julie) of Fort Myers, FL, and Laif Collier of Vincennes; step daughters Pamela Ann Morgan (Paul) of Vincennes, Jan Donovan of Vincennes; siblings, Dr. John Collier (Sharon) of French Lick, Paul Collier (Martha) of Mooresville, and Earl Collier (Tina) of Martinsville; six grandchildren; six, step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; loving wife, Betty Collier; brothers, Donald, Forest, Lester, Junior, James, and Shirly Collier; a sister, Gladys Collier; two children, Nancy Donica and Billy Collier step son , Louis Godeaux.

Services have been entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel. Floral deliveries may be made on the morning of Thursday, May 14, 2020 to the funeral home.
