Barbara Ervin Obituary


Barbara Lou (Julian) Ervin, 75 of Bicknell, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. At home with her family by her side.
Barbara was born in Vincennes, IN to the late Marlin Julian and Cora (Keasling) Julian. Barbara retired from North Knox East Food Service after 31 years as the kitchen manager.
Her proudest accomplishments were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren which she loved dearly.
Barbara is survived by; her loving husband, Dennis Edward Ervin; children, Todd Ervin (Becky) of Bicknell, and Cheryl Jones (Scott) of Sandborn, IN; eight grandchildren Tyler (Nick) Bunte, Jordy (Clay) Cook, Drake Ervin, Megan (Jared) Blue, Emily (Sklyer) Pittman, Kayla Jones, Tabatha (Stanley) Provines, Michael (Kristin) Cullivan ; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Marlin, Darrel, Dean, and Ronnie Julian and one sister Evelyn Sue Julian.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 601 S. 9th St. Vincennes, IN 47591 in lieu of flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Bicknell Chapel with burial in Asbury Chapel Cemetery. Unfortunately, due to (Covid-19) the family has elected to have private visitation at 10am on Thursday May 21st with a family services at 12 noon at Asbury United Methodist Church.
