Barbara A (Hunt) Drake

Barbara A. Drake 88, of Vincennes passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Willow Manor.

Barbara was born in Edwardsport, IN on January 14, 1933 to the late Charles Hunt and Sophie Brookshire Hunt.

Barbara was employed as a nursing assistant for various places and loved working in healthcare. She enjoyed watching television, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren). 

Barbara is survived by; children, Leadra Dolkey(Cundiff), Ronnie Dolkey, and Lisa Dolkey; grandchildren, Jocelyn Whisnant, Robert Dolkey, Miranda Chattin, Jack Worland, Jacob Worland, and Erica Hatton; great-grandchildren, Tyson Whisnant, Jackson Whisnant, Molly Dolkey, Madison Dolkey, Macey Dolkey, Gabriel Hamilton, Braydon Bennington, and Hallie Hatton.

Barbara was preceded in death by; her parents; 1sthusband, Jack Dolkey, 2nd husband, Carroll Drake; brothers, Gordon Hunt, Bill Hunt, Charles Hunt; sisters, Wanda Clymer, Nina Jackson, Betty Yagle; and a son, Roger Dolkey.

Visitation will be at Fredrick and Son McClure-UttFuneral Homes, Bicknell Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.with a graveside service following at 12:30P.M.at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at wwwfredrickandson.com.
