Annette Hambrick, a loving and spirited woman, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023, in Washington, IN. Born on April 4, 1962, in Bowling Green, KY, she was a beacon of kindness and joy to all who knew her.
Annette was the cherished daughter of Gennette and Garland Thomeson, who preceded her in death. She was a beloved sister to Shirley, Sheila, Ennette, and Ronnie, and a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jayden Walls, whose memory she held dear.
Annette was a devoted wife to Robert Hambrick Sr., and a loving mother to her sons, Josh Hambrick (Brittany), Robert Hambrick II (Ashley), and Michael Hambrick (Debra Gerbig). Her love for her family was boundless and she took great joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was adored by her grandchildren, Josh Jr., Shayla, Chaim, Ethan, Harland, Skyler, Joshlynn, Remington, Sabrina, Alana, Tessa, Myleah, Justyce, Isaac, Ashton, Amya, Kaitlynn Ragsdale, Emma, Robert III, Carter, Lillian Gregory, Louie Gerbig, Kaleb Wilson Jr., Ella Wilson, and Tony Gerig. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Lynlee, Greyson, Ollie, Aiden, and Link Lafeve, who brought her immense joy.
Annette dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a C.N.A. for Daviess Community Hospital. Her kindness and compassion were evident in her work, and she was well-respected by her colleagues and patients alike. Her dedication to her profession was a testament to her caring nature and her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Annette had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her love for music was well-known, and she could often be found humming a tune or dancing to her favorite songs. Annette had a particular fondness for Halloween, delighting in the fun and excitement of the holiday. She also enjoyed watching true crime shows, a testament to her curious and inquisitive nature. Annette had a unique love for hot Cheetos and Pepsi, a combination that brought her simple joy and was a quirky testament to her spirited personality.
Annette Hambrick was a woman of great strength and kindness. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she was a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving nature, her spirited personality, and her unwavering kindness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Annette’s Life on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 700 W. Van Trees Street Washington, IN 47501 from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
