Anita D. (Davis) Wolfe

Anita D. “Davis” Wolfe 92, of Vincennes, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Anita was born on October 16, 1930 to the late Richard H. Davis and Ellen “Clifton” Davis.  Anita graduated from St Rose Academy in 1948,and she later married Jerome Wolfe on Dec 6, 1953 in Vincennes IN. 

Anita was a realtor for Century 21 and a homemaker. In 1997 she started Anita Wolfe Reality. Anita was a devout Catholic and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church first then she later became a member of the Old Cathedral where she also served as a  Eucharistic Minister and Church Lector. Anita was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Aux,  St Francis Xavier Altar Society and the Indiana Board of Realtors. Those left to mourn the her loss include; sons; Jerry Wolfe (Cindy) New Palestine IN, Mark Wolfe of Tampa FL and Jeffrey Wolfe of Pensacola FL daughters, Karen Wolfe of Indianapolis IN, Lisa Schloneger (Kevin) of Indianapolis IN, , six grandchildren; Sarah Tyner (Justin), Eric Wolfe (Melissa), Marie Schloneger, Nolan Schloneger (Caitlyn), McGuire Wolfe and Bridgett Wolfe, great grandchildren; Hannah, Lillian, Madison, Logan, Lorelei, William. She was preceded in death by; her husband,Jerome Wolfe, parents; Richard H. Davis and Ellen “Clifton” Davis, sisters; Naomi Zwolinski, Connie Gognat, and Sondra Sievers, brothers; John Richard Davis, Ronald Davis and Lyle Davis.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 3, 2023 at the old Cathedral Catholic Church, the family  will receive friends on Tuesday January 3, 2023 11:00 A.M. until 11:50 A.M. at the Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel.  She will be laid to rest at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Vincennes. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Anita’s memory to the Marquette Manor Foundation 8140 Township Line Road Indianapolis IN, 46260.
