Summer Alyssia Alton, 20, of Vincennes, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Summer was born in Vincennes, November 27, 1998 to Shannon G. Alton and Karista Dawn Cox. She was a 2017 graduate of South Knox High School, where she excelled in all classes that were art related. Summer also showed interest in graphic design and was a member of IAK Audio Club. She enjoyed spending her spare time relaxing while scrolling Facebook and being with her family and friends.
Summer leaves behind; her mother, Karista Dawn Cox, of Monroe City; Fiancé, Jaxon Carpenter of Washington; her beloved daughter, Wynter Carpenter of Washington; three brothers, Austin, Zachary, and Samuel Alton, all of Monroe City; two sisters, Lindsey Porter of Washington, Hayley Schatz of Vincennes; Maternal Grandfather, Kevin Cox of Vincennes; Paternal Grandmother, Lisa Alton of Monroe City; one Aunt Sunee Alton of Monroe City; two uncles, Brett Willis of Vincennes, Daniel Alton of Nashville; and one great-aunt, Michelle Williams.
Summer was preceded by; her father, Shannon Alton; and paternal grandfather, Kim Alton.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt, Vincennes Chapel. You may leave the family a condolence at fredrickandson.com
