Stephen Kahre, 70, Vincennes, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Daviess Community Hospital. Stephen was born February 11, 1947, in Vincennes, the son of Frank and Cecelia (Thais) Kahre. He was retired.
Stephen is survived by his children, Kevin Kahre, Lynn Goodman and Stephen M. Kahre; five grandchildren; brothers, Frank J. Kahre and William “Bill” Kahre; and sisters, Ellen C. Kahre and Jane C. Kahre Shafer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Michael Kahre.
A private graveside service will be held. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.fredrickandson.com.
