Shirley Ann McGregor, 72, Vincennes, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Shirley was born November 12, 1945, in Vincennes, the daughter of William and Gertrude (Lindley) Eck. She married Clyde McGregor on December 28, 1961. She worked for the Brown Shoe Factory as a shoe maker and an teacher’s assistant. She enjoyed crocheting and being with family. She was a member of the Frogger’s Club and the Bettye J. McCormick Center, where she did crocheting for cancer patients
Shirley is survived by her husband, Clyde McGregor of Vincennes; sons, Russell Van McGregor and Bruce Daniel McGregor, both of Vincennes; sisters, Alberta Parish of Vincennes and Diane “Pinky” Eck of Vincennes; sister-in-laws, Mary Eck Stangle and Jackie Eck; several nieces and nephews; her dog, Sadie Ann; and special friends, Keith and Kathy Hartzel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Phillip and Stanley Eck.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. with Rev. Matt Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until time of service also at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
