Roland Wayne Ridge

Roland Wayne Ridge, 81, Vincennes, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Roland was born July 9, 1937, in Vincennes, the son of Loren “Blackie” Wayne Ridge and Virginia (Hewitt) Brown. He married Patricia Ann Anderson on July 9, 1977. He owned Ridgeview Homes and later worked at Baird Mobile Homes. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Roland is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ridge of Vincennes; daughter, Brenda Lee (Danny) Lawrence of Annadale, VA; sons, Loren Joe (Susan) Ridge of Vincennes and Scott Ridge of Vincennes; grandchildren, Brendan Ridge, Matthew Ridge, Haylee Ridge and Dakota Ridge Lawrence; step-children, Douglas Bline, Mary Jane Pearson, Thomas Bline, Patty Ann Bline, Samantha Lynn Bender and Sandra Lee Hart; sixteen step-grandchildren; thirty-seven step-great-grandchildren; brother, William Eugene Ridge of Vincennes; sister-inlaws, Edith Banks of Iverness, FL and Mary Phyllis Bice of Robinson, IL; brothers in law, George Anderson of Robinson, IL and Billy Joe Anderson of Henderson, KY; and cousins, Francis and Steve Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-grandchildren, Karl James Tislow, Justin Paul Bline and Kenny Ray Phillippe.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
