Robert Bruce Doll

Robert Bruce Doll, 82, Bicknell, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Bob was born August 12, 1934, in Lawrence county, IL, the son of Robert N. and Theresa F. (Todd) Doll. He married Lois Ann Nightingale on May 30, 1957. He was the maintenance supervisor for PSI and later Duke Energy. He served in the United States Air Force. He was also a member of the Vincennes Southside Presbyterian Church. Bob was an avid camper, fisherman, and gardener. Bob was very mechanical and could fix anything.
Bob is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Janice Doll of Vincennes, Steven (Michelle) Doll of Martinsville, William (Jamie) Doll of Clarksville, TN, Larry (Allison) Doll of Vincennes, and Cheryl (Jerry) Otten of Vincennes; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Charlie (Rita) Doll of Vincennes; sister, Mary (Larry) Westfall of Arizona; sister-in-law, Linda Doll of Vincennes; and his dog, Rowdy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Doll.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Doll and Rev.
