Richard Charles Williams 86, of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
Richard was born in Vincennes, IN. March 16, 1933 to the late G. Raymond Williams and Elsie T. Williams (Hess).
Richard was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, and was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. He was a devoted member of the United States Airforce from which he retired: He served his country courageously in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Richard was employed by Valley Electric of Vincennes.
He is survived by ; his children, Rick Williams (Maureen) of Troutdale, OR, Teresa Flory (Jeff) of Vincennes, IN, KatherynLitalien (Jim) of Ogden, UT, Charles Ford (Vickie) of Harrisville Ut, and Karen Dierker (Joe) of Lonedell, MO; grandchildren, William Tyler Earley (Tiffani), Cameron Earley, J Levi Flory, Lindsey Flory, Amber Lewis (Dustin), Justin Williams, Jennifer Schuchman (Craig), Jeremy Ford, Laura Francisco (Richard) Michael Dierker, John Paul Dierker (Dawn); twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by; his loving wife, Carolyn Sue Ford; three brothers; and four sisters.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 6268 S. Street Thomas Rd. Vincennes, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt, Vincennes Chapel. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Washington, IN.
