Rex Lynn Allen

Rex Lynn Allen, 65, Bicknell, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Rex was born March 2, 1952, in Vincennes, the son of William Lee and Betty Ruth (Foote) Allen. He married Terri Lee Wininger on March 30, 2012. He was an electrical operator for IBEW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid gun collector. Rex was a member of the French Club and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Rex is survived by his wife, Terri; parents, William and Betty Allen of Bicknell; his children, Penney Jean (Eric) Koenig of Bicknell, Todd (Amy) Allen of Vincennes, Mindy (Corry) Frison of Nashville, TN and Amy (Sean) Stovall of Oblong, IL, step-children, Tanya Holt of Vincennes and Leanna (Andy) Clodfelder of Vincennes; grandchildren, Ashley and Madison Koenig, Taylor Hambrick, Emily Allen, Ace and Max Clodfelder, Katelyn and Kallie Holt, Donovan and Carter Frison; great-grandchild, Brealynn Hatfield; brothers and sisters, Floyd (Betty) Allen of Albuquerque, NM, Mark (Janice) Allen of Vincennes, Jim (Pam) Allen of Bicknell, and Teresa (Brian) Blinn of Vincennes.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel. Funeral services will be also at the funeral home beginning at 7:00 PM Friday with Pastor John Trotter officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Pet Port, 1128 River Road, Vincennes, Indiana or Knox County Humane Society, 405 Main St., Vincennes.
