Peggy Robbins

Peggy Diane (Wilkerson) Robbins, 73 of Bicknell passed away on July 16, 2019, at her residence in Bicknell. She was born on, April 1,1946, in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of James Marshall and Carol Louise (Johnson) Wilkerson. On November 9,1964 she Married Jerry Dean Robbins In Crawford County Illinois and he precedes her in death on December 13, 2001.

Peggy attended North Knox High School were she graduated in 1964, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bicknell where she served as the custodian for over 30 years. She was a member of the Francis Vigo chapter of the DAR, Hoosier Historians Genealogical Society where she was the editor of the newsletter for several years, Peggy was also a member of the Vincennes Northwestern Territory Genealogical Society. She was active in genealogy and loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her children; Crystal (Desmond) Nwadike of Bicknell, Jerry D Jr.(Kim) Robbins of Edwardsport and William (Autumn) Robbins of Bicknell. Five grandchildren; Jerry (Kassie) Robbins, Devon(Kirsten)Robbins, William Robbins, Jeri Ewert, and Walter Alan Ewert III. Peggy also is survived by her special niece Denia Bright (Doug) Griffith of Jasonville and her children Heather (Aaron) Hoke her son Owen Gambill and daughter Heidi Hoke a step-son Tanner Hoke and Jake(Emily) Thomas and Joey Thomas. She also leaves several other nieces, nephews and cousins and her special friend Gary Cassady also survive.

Along with her husband Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, sister Anita Carol Wilkerson Bright Phillips, a brother Russell Duane Wilkerson and an aunt Lela Mae Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 20, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel, 109 E 6th St. Bicknell, Indiana 47512. Burial will follow in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 20, 2019 from 10 A.M Until the time of service at the funeral home.
