Paul Edward Barekman

Paul Edward Barekman, 59 of Vincennes, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 15, 2019. 

Paul was born August 3, 1960 to Alva Barekman and Marilyn Sue Mathews. He worked in shipping and receiving for Essex Wire for 31 years. Paul loved his grandchildren, riding his motorcycle, and the Chicago Cubs. 

Paul is survived by; his loving wife of forty years, Connie Carey Barekman; a son, Paul Barekman(Jamie) of Vincennes; a daughter, Renee Leydet (Mike) of Edwardsport; grandchildren, Hope and Daniel Leydet, and Ellie Lang-Barekman; his mother, Marilyn Sue Mathews of Vincennes; a sister, Cindy Gardner(Brian) of Vincennes; and a brother, Kenny Barekman(Julie) of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alva Barekman. 

There will be a visitation on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt, Vincennes Chapel with a service immediately following at 2:00 P.M.
