Mary Deborah (Debbie) Sievers, 81 of Vincennes, passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 21, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Debbie was born Feb. 10th, 1936, in Pittsburg,  PA, the daughter of James A. and Sarah L. (Houser) O’Connor. She married Jack Sievers on May 30, 1957. Debbie attended St. Rose Academy. She graduated from Vincennes University and worked as a medical technologist. Debbie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she was a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and taught RCIA. Debbie enjoyed her Wednesday lunches with her St. Rose classmates.
Debbie is survived by a daughter, Julie Sievers of Vincennes; sons John Sievers and his wife, Angela of Vincennes, Dan Sievers and his wife, Donna of Vincennes, Andy Sievers and his wife, Lauren of Mahomet, Illinois, and Joel Sievers and his wife, Leanne of Vincennes;  sisters; Susan Logue (Carl) and Sheila O’Connor and brothers, Kevin O’ Connor (Delene), Mike O’Connor (Terry)  grandchildren, Corey Sievers and his wife, Michelle, Alex \Sievers and his wife, Sophie, Evan Sievers, Jenna Perry and her husband, Vance, Rachel Sievers, Grant Sievers, Andrew Sievers and his wife, Abigail, Suzannah Sievers, Matt Sievers, Will Sievers, and Colin Sievers and his wife Elizabeth; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a son, Martin Sievers; and Brothers Brian, Peter, and Sean O’Connor. 
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Fri March 31st at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Sat. April 1st at 2 PM with Rev. Dave Fleck officiating. Debbie requested her body be donated to Medical Research. Memorial contributions may be made to Buddy Ball C/O of Vincennes League 1501 South 14th Street Vincennes, IN 47591.  A Non Profit baseball league for Special Needs Individuals.
