Marian M Like

Marian “Marcelle” Like, 92, Bruceville, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the New Willow Manor. Marcelle was born July 1, 1925, in Knox County, the daughter of Henry and Wilma (Hunley) Shappard. She married Alford “Mutt” Like in March of 1974. She was a retired bookkeeper.  Marcelle was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Vincennes Post and the Freelandville Christian Church.

Marcelle is survived by her daughters, Linda Blome of Vincennes, Diane Harmon of Sullivan and Debbie (Alan) Agee of Bruceville; sons, Rick (Rita) Harris of Talco, TX and Larry (Patti) Harris of Punta Gorda, FL; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Irma Donovan of Princeton; and brother-in-law, Bob Woolsey of Sandborn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Pam Williams; sister Shirley Woolsey and a son in law Tom Harmon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 with Pastor Larry Schultz officiating at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until time of service also at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.fredrickandson.com.
