Larry G. Chattin

Larry G. Chattin, 77, Freelandville, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence. Larry was born November 3, 1940, in Decker Chapel, the son of Hubert and Edna (Capehart) Chattin. He married Georgetta Kay Morris on October 8, 1960. He retired from INDOT and was also a farmer.
Larry is survived by his wife, Georgetta Chattin of Freelandville; children, Larry G. Chattin Jr. of Freelandville; daughters, Leitha (Shane) Wilson of Evansville and Kim (Chris) Vieke of Vincennes; grandchildren, Andrew (fiance Katharine), Nick and Abbie Wilson and Will and Ryan Vieke; sisters, Peggy Baxter of St. Francisville, IL, Janet Rollins of Greenwood, IN and Denise (Dr. Charles) Hendrix of Vincennes; brothers, Bill (Janet) Chattin of Vincennes and Jim (Linda) Chattin of Vincennes.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel with a memorial service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jarrod Chattin officiating.
