Larry Lyle Bowers

Larry Lyle Bowers, 80, died November 11, 2019 at his home in Bicknell.
He was born December 29, 1938 to Wilgus and Juanita (Holmes) Bowers.
Larry graduated from Bicknell High School in 1957. He worked in power plants the majority of his adult working life and retired from Hoosier Energy, Merom Generating Station, in 1998. Larry also worked with his father at the Family business, Wilkie's Standard Service, at Second and Franklin Streets in Bicknell. He enjoyed his grandchildren and playing cards.

Larry is survived by his wife, Carol (Hislip) Bowers, whom he married June 10, 1972; a daughter, Beth (Ed) Schleter of Fort Branch; and two grandchildren, Evan and Emma Schleter.

Funeral services will be held 1P.M. Thursday November 14, 2019 at Fredrick & Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Bicknell Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the time of the Service. Online condolences may be sent at www.fredrickandson.com.
