Evelyn Louise Clifton, 66, Vincennes, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Evelyn was born December 7, 1951, in Nashville, IN, the daughter of John and Dolly Stewart. She married Marshall Charles Clifton. She was a homemaker. She loved shopping.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Marshall Clifton of Vincennes; step-father, James Hardin of Nashville, IN; sons, Joseph Rodgers (Larry Joe Hawkins) of Dawsonville, GA and Ronnie Hastings of Vincennes; daughter, Tamara Norton (Billy Jo Hawkins) of California; six grandchildren; brother, David Stewart of Nashville, IN; sisters, Peggy of Nashville, IN and Angela Wright of Florida; sister-in-law, Paula Evans of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Fredrick and Son Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
