Eleanor Joyce Johnson

Eleanor Joyce Johnson  84, of Bruceville, passed away November 05, 2019 at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown.  Eleanor was born September 23, 1935, in Bruceville Indiana, the Daughter of Alfred Andrew and Dottie Beatrice (Harrington) Johnson.  She worked for Brown Shoe Factory and Later Retired from  housekeeping for Good Samaritan Hospital.  She was a member of the Bruceville Christian Church and helped with the youth group. 
Eleanor is survived by 2 brothers Paul and Marcie Johnson of Mesa Arizona,  James Johnson of Bicknell In, and  1 sister Rita McCormick of Oaktown In, and numerous  nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents  Alfred Andrew and Dottie Beatrice (Harrington) Johnson  2 brothers Denver and Roy Johnson, 1 infant sister Naomi Ruth Johnson, sister-in-law Patricia Johnson, and a brother-in-law Paul McCormick. A Funeral will take place on Wednesday November 13, 2019 2:00 P.M. at Fredrick & Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Bruceville Chapel with Glenn Turner  officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12 P.M.  until the time of the service. She will be laid to rest at the Bruceville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in Elanor's memory  to the Bruceville Christian Church youth group, the Oak Village Nursing Home, or the Good Samaritan Hospice.
