Edna L Bilskie

Edna L. (Hager) Bilskie, 94, Vincennes, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Edna was born May 20, 1923, in Knox county, the daughter of Thomas J. and Elizabeth Pearl (Snider) Hager. She married Robert Bilskie on April 8, 1942. She was a clerk at local stores and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Sister Kathy Bilskie, OSB, of Ferdinand; brother, James V. Hager of Evansville; nieces and nephews; and the Ferdinand religious community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on December 13, 2009; her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and an infant daughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Gary Kaiser officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a vigil service beginning at 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. She will be laid to rest at Mt.
