Joseph Privett Obituary

Joseph E. “Joe” Privett, 83, Ragsdale, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Joe was born July 30, 1934, in Vincennes, the son of Walt and Beulah Privett. He was a supervisor for Checker and Clark Oil.
Joe is survived by his children, Sherri Robinson of Vincennes, Joseph E. Privett Jr. of Coal City, IN, James Gibson of Ragsdale and Lorrie Smith of Coal City, IN; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and two brothers.
No services will be held. Per Joe’s request, he will be cremated. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.fredrickandson.com.
