Dexter Cardinal, 66, Vincennes, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his residence. Dexter was born October 29, 1951, in Vincennes, the son of Leo and Theresa (Vieke) Cardinal. He graduated from Central Catholic in 1969. He was a carpenter. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Dexter is survived by his brothers, Dale Cardinal and Richard Cardinal, both of Vincennes; cousins, Pete Johnson of Vincennes, Russell Johnson of Greenwood, Walt Vieke of Vincennes, Joseph Vieke of Kokomo, Mary Faulkner of Vincennes, Margaret Sparenburg of Terre Haute, Louise Ray of Kokomo and Paul Vieke of Snake Run, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Raymond, Morris and Joe Cardinal, and Ted Vieke.
