Cathy, Lisa, Diane and Tim,---We were so saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. Just learned of it through Cathy's letter to Lynda. As you know we were very good friends for many years after a chance meeting at a service station while in the service. We spent many good times with your Mom and Dad and Ruth and Everett Wright, who are also gone. My Chuck is in the nursing home here and I have sold our home and live in a retirement complex here in Godfrey, IL. I see him every day and he still knows me and the kids, so that is a blessing. Love to you all and know that your Mom and Dad are together again. June Elliott

Prayers going to Tim and Lana and the family on the loss of Darwin. My own dear dad, who passed in February, once told me that We're only on earth but a split second compared to eternity. As a man devout in his walk with the Lord, Darwin has made his journey to Heaven, has a perfect mind and body and is enjoying the reunion with loved ones that journeyed before him. Have comfort in knowing that he's happy and well and will be waiting for you at Heaven's gate to welcome you home one day.

Dear Cousins: We are so sorry we cannot attend Darwin's funeral, but our hearts go out to each of you on the loss of your father. He and your mother were wonderful people and our family thought very highly of them. I know when we would visit in Freelandville (Uncle Herschel and Aunt Hilda) they would always come over to visit with us. Our sincerest sympathy to all and may God Bless each of you.
