Darrell Lee Kennedy Sr.

Darrell “Jake” L. Kennedy Sr., 70, Vincennes, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville Darrell was born April 12, 1947, in Salem, IN, the son of Wilson and Esther (Martin) Kennedy. He was a truck driver. He was also a member of the Washington Eagles, the Washington American Legion and a former Hoosier Cruisers Car Club member.
Darrell is survived by his son, Darrell Kennedy Jr. and his wife Tammy, of Washington; daughter, Tabatha and Derek Durden of Hardinsburg In; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Beverly Sue Kennedy; and brother, Troy Kennedy.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 12:00PM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.fredrickandson.com.
